Alvise graduated at Bocconi University and has been working in IT Security consultancy since 1999. He is CEO and co-founder of Banksealer and Secure Network. He is very active in the institutional context covering, among others, following roles: VP Piccola Industria at Confindustria; VP Piccola Industria Assolombarda (mandate for the CyberSecurity Advisory Board); Board Member for Italia Startup; part of the board of Confindustria’s Assinform. He also got several Public Awards for his commitment in social and economic development.
Stefano received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where he is currently an associate professor. His researches focus on malware analysis and cybersecurity: he co-authored over 60 scientific papers and books. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Computer Society and a lifetime senior member of the ACM. Stefano co-founded the Italian chapter of ISSA (Information System Security Association) and sits in its International Board of Directors. Stefano is also co-founder of Secure Network.
Head of research
Michele is co-founder and head of research of Banksealer. He received a Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in Information Technology from the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, where he is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher, working at NECST Laboratory with Prof. Stefano Zanero. During his Doctorate, he studied and made contributions in the field of Internet banking fraud analysis and detection. His research interest are focused on cybersecurity and in particular on financial malware analysis and fraud detection. He is actively involved in research projects funded by the European Union.
Claudio graduated from UIC with a Master's in Computer Science and from Politecnico di Milano with a Master's in Computer Engineering. He is passionate about data: from data integration and engineering to machine learning. He has been research assistant at University of Chicago working for a UIC Excellence Award "Building Urban Resilience and Sustainability (BURST)" and an NSF Grant "Cyber-Enabled Sustainability Science and Engineering". He is CTO and co-founder of Banksealer.
Business Development Manager
Francesco graduated full marks in Foreign Languages and Literatures. He has solid multilingual skills (5 languages spoken) and a long work experience at RefData, a company partner of SWIFT providing a database for international payments. He got the position of Pre-Sales and Client Services Supervisor and worked with largest European Banks, mainly in French speaking countries. Before joining Banksealer, he had also almost 2 years experience in the corporate market at Cerved Group as Global Account.
Alberto holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He graduated with a thesis on Android malware through which he built the first mobile malware tracker; this work has been published in a top conference (Financial Cryptography and Data Security 2016). After working in fraud prevention, he decided to move to fraud detection to have a solid understanding of complex fraud scenarios. His preferred research areas are the Android platform and malware analysis.
Daniele holds two Master's degrees: one from Politecnico di Milano in Computer Engineering and one from UIC in Computer Science and co-founded Banksealer. He spent years as a freelance backend and mobile developer in Italy before joining a mobile security research team in the US. He is charmed by complex distributed systems and intricate application stacks. He has been a Black Hat USA Speaker in 2014.
Luca graduated from UIC with a Master in Computer Science and from Politecnico di Milano with a Master's in Computer Engineering. After an experience as sales engineer at Google, wanted to become a UX specialist but then moved to programming and found his state of flow in project management. He has a passion for efficiency through collaboration, helping teams get better, one step at a time.
Alessandra graduated in New Technologies of Art at
Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She also studied Web Design at CFP Bauer in Milan while working as a
freelancer. Curious by nature, she is always seeking to learn. She is fascinated by human-computer
interaction and she is responsible for everything related to Banksealer’s graphics and User
Emanuele graduated full marks from Univpm with a Master's in Software Engineering. He developed a system capable of scoring the tie strength between two people using only linguistic features, in collaboration with Utrecht University of Psychology. He spent 3 years working on a cad/cam and 3D-simulation software for a leading company in wood working machinery. He loves knowledge and complex algorithms and he's always eager to learn cutting edge technologies to build great software.
